Alderton Hall
Alderton Hall is said to be one of the three finest examples of Hall House
construction in Suffolk. Retaining many clues to its origins, it has been lovingly
restored to create excellent country bed and breakfast accommodation in three
newly refurbished and extremely comfortable double bedrooms which make up the
south wing.

Stroll around the lovely landscaped gardens of over two acres and
relax on one of the garden seats and watch the sun setting over the estuary
to the west.
Surrounded by an ancient moat the garden and water support a good deal of
wildlife including a resident heron, otter, kingfisher, ducks and moor hen.
In the surrounding
fields are herds of deer. In the evening you will hear, even if you do not
see, our parliament of owls who roost in the old barns and in summer you
can watch the aerobatic displays of the swallows as they race across the sky
with
food for their young.

Within a short walk of the sea and close to the Suffolk Coasts and Heaths
Path which runs from Felixstowe in the south to Lowestoft in the north,
Alderton Hall provides an excellent base for walkers and cyclists exploring
the Suffolk
coast.

Alderton Hall is totally Non Smoking. Sorry no pets.
